The Democratic Club of Phelps County to hold a General Meeting February 16, 2022
Rolla, Missouri - The Democratic Club of Phelps County will hold a general meeting at the Phelps County Courthouse Community Room in Rolla, Missouri on Wednesday February 16 from 6-8:30 p.m.
EVENT: Democratic Club of Phelps County General Meeting
SPEAKER: Randy Verkamp, Presiding Commissioner of the Phelps County Commission.
Mr. Verkamp will speak about his thirty-four years of service on the Phelps County Commission, his outlook for the future of the county, and advice for potential candidates for commissioner. Mr. Verkamp will retire from the commission upon the completion of his current term.
Mr. Verkamp is a life-long resident of Phelps County, graduated from UMR with a degree in Engineering Management and an MBA from Drury University.

TIME: Wednesday, February 16, 2022, 6-8:30 p.m.
DINNER: This event will see the first Annual Winter Soup Potluck dinner. Participants are encouraged to bring their favorite winter soup or side dish. A friendly competition will be held to determine the People’s Choice for Best Soup.
COST: Free and open to the public. Donations will be gratefully accepted.
All interested parties are welcome to attend. In consideration of the continued threat of the pandemic in our community, everyone is asked to wear a mask and practice social distancing to what extent possible.
The Democratic Club of Phelps County was founded in 1932. The club seeks to: 1) expand our base and membership, 2) provide educational opportunities, and 3) support our candidates.
