WHAT OUR LEGISLATORS NEED TO KNOW FROM US

It is important that those who are in a position to enact policies that will impact our lives and well-being know what we think.  You may not have an opinion on everything - after all, there's a lot going on in Washington D.C. and in Jefferson City that is more or less "over our heads" - but there's plenty for all of us to focus on and try to influence in some way.  

It is important to remember that these legislators, regardless of party, actually work for us.  So it's our job to keep up with what's going on and figure out when we need to give them some input. They need to be aware of what we want them to do.

So, don't be shy.  Your opinion matters just as much as the opinion of your neighbor or the opinion of some stranger who has nothing to do with you.  No one knows better than you how you might be impacted by a policy enacted by legislators who may only be looking at it from one side of the road.   LET THEM KNOW WHAT YOU THINK!!!  Be polite, but firm.  No name calling or insults.  Just calm, matter-of-fact statements:
