March For Our Lives

Duration: 2 hours  ---   10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

There will be marches across the U.S. on Saturday June 11 - we are demanding better firearm safety legislation to protect our children and communities.

We will be gathering at the Phelps County Courthouse and then walking (on the sidewalks, following all pedestrian laws) to City Hall, and then back to Phelps County Courthouse.

We will have some water available at each location for people. Please bring a water bottle and a small snack to keep you energized.

From the March for our Lives website:

"Our message and ask for this March is simple: no longer will we be held hostage by our lawmakers and no longer will we tolerate feeling unsafe in our communities. Regardless of what party you stand for, if you do not support lifesaving measures like universal background checks, we will pledge to vote against you this fall and in future elections."

PLEASE MAKE NOTE:

- The organizers have run this by the local police station and we have the all-clear.

- NO OPEN CARRY allowed at this event.

- We will be LOUD and peaceful (non-violent).

- We will follow all pedestrian and traffic laws at this event.
