January General Meeting and Soup Potluck Contest

The Phelps County Democratic Club is pleased to announce the January 2026 General Meeting to be held January 22nd at the Phelps County Courthouse's Community Meeting Room. We will also hold the Fifth Annual Winter Soup Potluck Dinner. Participants are encouraged to bring their favorite winter soup or side dish. A friendly competition will be held to determine the People’s Choice for Best Soup.
AGENDA:
6:00 p.m. Pot-Luck Dinner; please bring soups at 5:45 p.m. Note: if you plan to bring a soup, please drop us a line at demclubphelps@gmail.com to let us know so we can make sure we have enough soup to go around!
7:00 p.m. Speaker Presentation and Discussion. Our speaker is the Honorable Frank Barnitz. Frank is a former Democratic member of the Missouri State Senate representing the 16th District from 2005-2011 where he served as Minority Caucus Leader. He also served in the Missouri State House of Representatives from 2000 to 2005.

COST: Free and open to the public. Donations will be gratefully accepted.
