Democratic Club of Phelps County
On Saturday October 17th we will gather to prepare for and execute a Get Out The Vote (GOTV) community canvassing event. At 8am we can start gathering at 609 N Pine to write GOTV postcards and assemble literature packages. Starting at 10am people can get literature packages, maps, and address lists for communities throughout Phelps County. Addresses will be grouped in 10-20 households to make quick and easy work of it. You can take more if you are motivated to go to more houses! Literature packages will have a rubber band to hang around the door knob. You don’t have to knock doors and talk to residents. It would be better to work in pairs so bring a buddy! If you don’t have a buddy who can come, come anyway! We will pair you with someone that you can work with. Please do not wear any offensive or inflammatory t-shirts. This will be a bi-partisan effort. Prior to the 17th there will probably be a short work day to get a jumpstart on the literature packages. We will let you know separately when that will happen.
